Somniphobia

Somniphobia - Fear of sleep.

Somniphobia may be a serious phobia, but it is treatable. The fear of sleep can often be treated with psychotherapy, hypnotherapy or by trying to find the underlying cause.

Often is the case with Somniphobia is that that there was some sort of traumatic event in the patient's life that caused this fear of sleep, with a little therapy or by hitting the fear head on, this can often be cured.

Somniphobia has been know to ruin people's lives. Living with the fear of sleep is often very difficult, but with time, it can be possible.
